You’re Never Disadvantaged
Dear Someone,
This letter is for you. You that is deeply hurt, you that have been loved less by those you expected to love you the most. You that have been let down by your family. You that was gracefully broken at a time you had no control over your emotions. You that have been a victim of real love but in bad timing. You that have received more rejections than acceptances. You that have received more rejections because of your address than your age and weight combined, this letter is for you.
Don’t think that life is being unfair to you, you that have received more rejections about the way you look more than a high school drop out looking for a job. You that have received more rejections than you can count because your work didn’t fit into the theme. When God tells you “No”, it’s because He’s saving you from something that will ruin you. Trust Him and see that rejection not in a negative way but he is saving you from them! The wait may be longer but the more you get to know The Creator, the more you understand that what He has for you will be for you – NO MATTER WHAT.
Allow Allah to be your light in the midst of that darkness and joy in the midst of that pain. Don’t be afraid of rejection. People may reject you but that’s okay because Even Most of the Prophets received more rejections than you ever will. People may reject you for how poorly they perceive you, but always remember that nothing happens without God’s approval because of what He is planning for you or what He is saving you from. During tough times, stay grateful, even if it doesn’t make sense to do so. God has your best interest at heart in that situation you have found yourself. Go ahead and embrace that rejection because when a door closes, you don’t know what God is saving you from – He could be saving you from further adversity.
Forgive that person that rejected you in that relationship. They were saving you from them by not wanting to get into a relationship with you. God will sometimes end a relationship for your protection. So stop chasing after the same person God is saving you from. See that heartbreak as a blessing. Its just another way GOD lets you know that He is saving you from the “wrong person”. So be grateful for the doors that shut in your face because they aren’t yours. Sometimes people lock you out not knowing that they’re saving you from what’s about to destroy them.
Today, I encourage you to be persistent and never accept that rejection to mean that you are disadvantaged. No! You are never disadvantaged when you have God on your side. In your darkest moments, you have no idea what you’re actually being protected from. Stay grateful, keep going and keep believing in your dreams. Never give up! Success is often determined by how many times you got up from every rejection, every blessed mess and thank God for another opportunity to start all over again. At some point in life you’ll look back at the things you didn’t understand then and thank God for saving you from it now.
Until tomorrow, be careful about rushing God’s timing – you never know who or what HE is protecting you or saving you from. Don’t be sad when people leave you – celebrate whatever it is that’s looking like a loss right now. They may have left you, but God is saving you from something that could affect your future. Look at it as a blessing, and a lesson learned. I pray for your well-being. May God replace whatever you have lost with something better. May you fall in love with someone who never gets tired of saving you from your own chaos. May you find a hero in someone who will always make you realize that you’re very special, that you’re not alone, that you are loved and will always be there saving you from loneliness and emptiness. May you always be thankful for the things that didn’t work out.
Be blessed!
